3D Product Rendering

Pricing

The following is ONLY applicable for 3D Product Renderings. Pricing includes an initial one-time CAD file setup fee per product + per image pricing depending on the type of image.

Don't have a 3D CAD model? No problem. We can create a high-quality 3D model of your product entirely from scratch with provided photographic reference, physical samples, or even a rough sketch.

Pricing is only finalized once we've had the chance to examine the reference material and discuss all details of the project with you.

Some A’s to your Q’s

Have questions regarding your specific project? Contact us today for a free quote.
How much does a 3D rendering cost?

We list "starting rates" directly on the pricing pages of our website. Costs typically breakdown into a combination of Set Up Fees (generally one-time costs to create the 3D model) and Content Fees (per image or per second rates).

Unfortunately it's not possible to have a one price fits all structure since final costs depend on a number of factors that include provided reference, complexity, project scope, and technical parameters. We can however usually provide a rough ballpark quote with minimal information and a final quote on full evaluation.

How long does the process take?

This depends entirely on the scope of work as well the complexity and provided reference. A project can take anywhere from days to months depending on the specifics. How long it takes to complete a project also depends on feedback and iterations throughout the process.

If you have a hard deadline, know that we can plan a schedule around a specific due date and we do offer rush options when possible.

What information do you need to get started?

This will vary depending on the project and whether we are producing renderings or animations.

If you have 3D CAD files we'll request those for starters. We will also typically ask for photographic reference or in some cases physical samples depending on what's easiest and what can be provided. We may also require 2D graphics such as logos and label artwork if applicable.

In addition to the above, we'll need to be sure we have a full understanding of the scope of work including number of images, preferred camera angles, variations, camera & object animation, etc..

Don't worry if this seems like a lot. We'll go over everything with you to make sure we are both 100% on the same page.

How many revisions do I get?

Two rounds of revisions are included in the budget assuming the revisions are within the original scope of work and not due to an oversight or incorrect information provided to us. The second round of revisions should also primarily be to address any comments that may remain from the first round. We will not charge for revisions if they are due to an oversight on our end.

Who owns the final designs?

You receive full ownership of the final designs and are free to use them however you like.

Do you offer discounts?

Absolutely. Our starting rates are based on low volumes and we are happy to consider discounts for bulk volumes and on-going work. Discounts will be evaluated on a per project / client scenario.
